I am going to add the utility track system to my titan, but I am also planning to have the pray in bedliner done as well. My question is should I do the bedliner first or does it matter?
Ihave never heard this. Any hard proof???? The wt of the trucks would be different thencneary812 said:just remember that the non utilitrack bed is not as thick as the utilitrack bed so you should be careful.

Mneal that would be great to have your post when I get started. Also what brand spray liner did you use? I have access to Rhino and Line-X here, dont knwo if there are others, anyone have any negatives to one or the other? The rhino is about 70 bucks cheaper but the guy doing it is new to it.mneal said:I did same thing as you, I added bottom rails and a spray in liner. I pre- drilled the hols in the bed slightly over-sized prior to the liner install. I also used quality primer and paint to make sure no rust started under the liner. As far as factory Uni-Track vs. non, the UT bed has top hat sections added at the mounting holes for the rails . From what I can tell crawling under the two trucks. I dunno about the 100lbs added, the additional bracing I saw was no where near that, I think most of the difference is from the sprayed in liner, not thicker material. (not saying your wrong, just reporting my opinion). I bought the rails from courtesyparts.com but altered some of the mounting hole locations to allow me the ability to use 1.5" wide , 3/16"thick aluminum flat stock and fender washers to support the rails. I took some pics and am planning on making a post on what I did when I get the chance.
