bedside utility box issues

I have a 2005 Titan Se crewcab 4x4 ( not that any of that matters for the bedside box ) but, it would seem that the thing just wont stay shut... its quite the bother I have quite a few straps and pulleys/tie downs in it that i would not like to loose or worse fall out on the turnpike and destroy another cars windshield..

Anyone have any quick fix tips or things to make it latch more effectively?

Duct tape?

Seriously, I think I recall seeing a posting here quite a while ago about a similar problem. Maybe you can find it with a search.
