so im stuck between F150, or Titan.

friend has a 03 Ford Ranger, and has problems with it.

Titan instrument cluster is very... BLAND.
Too much chrome. its gonna chip with all that driving.

F150 has a very nice exterior... but i wanna lean towards titan just because its a nissan...

I think the F150 is overall more bland and boring than the Titan and it's definetly not as good of an overall truck as the Titan.

You won't be dissappointed with the Titan.

Drive a Titan, then the F-150 will seem slow and boring.

The F150 is very dull...the restyle was not enough to keep me from thinking I'd seen it all before...it reeks of the 20th Century...do ya really want to plunk down big bucks for something so passe? Ford has blinders on  They don't give much credit to consumers to desire something revolutionary...just painfully evolutionary...they're playing it SO SAFE...yawn...
The 04 F-150 Lariat's interior is overdone to the point of being gaudy. Way too many details. Way too much chrome. Have a look at the half inch think chrome rings around the speedometer and the tachometer. Also if you're considering an extended cab F-150, have a look at the plastic D-ring handles which stick out about an inch on the sides of the rear doors.
i do love the spacious interior of the titan. i saw it at the LA Auto show. i couldnt stop climbing in and out :) tee hee, titan does catch my eye on the road though

i do admit, after reading the forums of the new F150, they bash for no good reason.... for you Titan owners, did u have the same tough choice as i am? how did u solve this?

Like you, I came down to the new F-150 and the Titan. I drove them both back-to-back and the decision was very easy. The Titan wins hands down. Just be fair to both vehicles and buy the one you like best...cough... cough...Titan.
CSUFTitan,

Your school says it all! Go Titans!!
:)
hehe true true.

another thing, F150 brags about having the "quietest" cabin of a full size truck. when i test drove it... didnt seem all that it was worked up to be. it was quiet... but not super silent...

any comments on those guys?

i also love the fact that Titan comes with spray in liner already.. tee hee
Test Drive?

The F-150 is quiet compared to the Titan.

But most of us love the Titan's throaty exhaust as all those ponies kick in the moment you start to move.

Test drive the Titan. All your questions shall be answered. The F-150 drives like a car, the Titan drives like a sports truck.
37L1, how much u pay for ur Titan? did u negotiate?

LE CC is what im aimin for. my current car now costed me just about $25,000 so i hope i can hit the Titan

I bought mine two weeks after they came out (12/14) so I didn't get as great of a deal as some others on this forum but I got mine when I wanted it (like right now!).

The first dealer I went to started asking at $3000 over MSRP (yeah, I know). :futwice:

I ended up getting mine for $1900 under MSRP which wasn't at all bad at the time. You can do way better then that now if you are patient and do your homework.

Pluckyew has gotten the best deal I've seen, (not an LE CC). His was a few hundred under invoice and he got his right away too. :gunz:

Go TITANS!
