ISLAM
Only one god-called Allah

A prophet who was
virgin-born, but not the son of God

Either Jesus was substituted by someone God made to look like Him or He was crucified, but God made it only appear that he died.

Muslims deny the deity of Jesus and the Holy Spirit. The Muslim God consist of one person.

Sin is disobedience to the established law. Sin does not grieve Allah.

Man is created by Allah and is sinless.

Salvation is achieved by submitting to the will of Allah.
There is no assurance of salvation-it is granted by Allah’s mercy alone.

Muslims accept the Bible (especially the Pentateuch, Psalms, and Gospels) insofar as it agrees with the Qur’an.

A later revelation that supersedes and corrects errors in the Bible.

There will be bodily resurrection and a final judgment with a final destination. All Muslims go to heaven, though some must be purged of their sins first. All infidels are going to hell.

CHRISTIANITY
Only one God-a triune being called God of Yahweh

Divine Son of God who was virgin-born. He is God’s Word and Savior to humanity.

Jesus died by crucifixion for the purpose of atoning for sins.

The one God is eternally revealed in three coequal persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.

Sin is rebellion against God.
Sin grieves God.

Man is created in God’s image and is sinful by nature.

Salvation is a gift accepted by faith in the atonement of Jesus Christ on the cross and provided though God’s grace.

The Bible is the inspired Word of God that is complete and not added to.

Not accepted as divine revelation.

There will be bodily resurrection in the last days. Final judgment and eternal destination(heaven or hell) will be decided based on acceptance of Jesus as Savior and His removal of the sin which separates each person from God.

This was a study that was done to show the common ground and difference.
The attachment is easier to read, it keeps the collums together.
It is from a magazine called Stand Firm.

Yeah....the core of Islam and christianity are amazingly similar...main difference being Jesus.

Also, both the bible and the koran have some crazy $hit and shouldn't be taken literally...unless crazy is your thing...of course.

Yes, they all come from the Hebrew God, the God of Adam and Eve, "I AM That I AM".
Sorry I had to correct that.
