What is the benefit of the 2* advance? Better performance? Better gas mileage? or what? If I get it done, will it void my warranty? Just a few of the questions I have since I have seen a lot of info flying around about getting the 2* advance done.:lookaroun

Sounds good to me....so I take that it does not help on gas mileage then since it is firing for a longer period of time?

Hmm, Ive had no trouble with mine.

I found that using 89 octane gives mine the best performance. After the advance, I ran several tanks of 93,91,89, and 87, and 89 outperformed all of them.

the only mod other then the 2 advance is the air box mod, which does little, and run 87 octane with no problems

i didnt see any change in fuel mileage since the change

You should be fine. I use it and I know a few members here who do the same without any problems.

Phew ok. That mod would turn into way more than $20 if you had to run higher octane.
