Have you thought about swapping the Bank's 3" Y for a 2.25"-3" Y? I've had mine swapped @ a local exhaust shop for $60 w/ a Flowmaster 2.25"-3" Y & it brought back my low end. Then added a set of Berk Tech B-Pipes & it added even more power!I have the BANKS exhaust. Im taking it off and selling it. It hurt my mpg's and low end torque. The 3" y pipe is to big to sustain low end with only 2.94 gear ratio. Right now I have the stock pipe to the banks muffler dumped before the axle sounds good and got my mpg's and torque back.
I thought about that, but I think im gonna get just a muffler or grab a jba or gibson exhaust.Have you thought about swapping the Bank's 3" Y for a 2.25"-3" Y? larger diameter piping mainly...along with a nonrestrictive Y pipe and flow through muffler. NA motors require back pressure to create TQ. nonrestrictive exhaust setups create less back pressure but are healthier for the motor, which usually results in better MPG too.Question. Waht causes the loss of low end torque with some of the exhausts mentioned above??? I have an 05 titan Le and I am looking for a Dual exhaust, just don't know which one

True, but you end up having to use more gas pedal which causes you to lose gas mileage...larger diameter piping mainly...along with a nonrestrictive Y pipe and flow through muffler.
