Hey guys, I recently installed some LED reverse lights that are awesome and now I have the lighting bug...lol I want to keep my stock headlights but want better hi, low and fog lighting. I have researched a lot online and on TT but there seems to be so many options it's overwhelming...what is the difference between LED, HID?? I'd like something that is plug and play but it seems these are all kits? I'm not much of a wiring guy. I also read that a lot of guys like the Sylvania Silverstar ultras. They are still halogen but offer better lighting, the cooler than stock white hue and truly plug right in. The reverse lights I installed are from Diode Dynamic and are great but costly. I don't mind spending money for a better product but again there are so many other options for less money out there. Hoping for some great input from all you guys! Thanks!

Matt

Here you go. That was a comparison when I was switching out my high beams. Silverstar Ultra on passenger, LED's everywhere else.

if you want awesome fogs, get the Rigid Fog lights from TAP, they are street legal and completely wash out my new Sylvania Ultras in my low beams. also can get a plug and play harness from tap to make install even easier, i did the wiring myself instead of the harness. The rigid fogs throw the light to the side of the highway and light it all up.

IMO my Sylvania ultras weren't that great of a difference. HID"s are way better but suck for everyone else unless you do it right with projectors.

Thanks guys! I'll look into the Rigid fogs from Tap, what color are they? The lights I ordered are 6000K, I'd like them to match as much as possible!

There's better stuff out there. Retro solutions is a pain when it comes to warrantee stuff. The products I've held from them are slightly better than ebay, but frankly not much.
