Finally chose a new tire to go with .....

Can't really give an overall review of them yet as I've only had them on for a few dozen miles, well almost 100 miles now. No dirt of off-roading yet, just highway driving and so far they are superior to the previous generation BFG M/Ts and my old Kumho KL71 M/Ts when it comes to road noise and basic road feel.

Anxiously looking forward to take them off road though.....just posting a pic of what they look like on a TITAN.

35x12.50x17 ... hum is not bad at all, like i mentioned earlier, less than the Kumhos and older BFGs, haven't been in a Toyo (or another other mudder) recently enough to compare ..... they do let you know they're a mud-terrain of course, but it is not bothersome at all

SWEET!!! I've been waiting for someone to get these on a Titan. Now I definitely know what my next tire choice is going to be. Thanks for the pictures and please keep us updated as far as off-road behaviors, tire wear, etc.

Where did you get them from? The cheapest I can find is $266 per tire.

yeah, that's pretty much the standard price everywhere I looked, I think costco might've been a little cheaper than that .... got a good deal with a buddy here locally at Discount, it was slightly more than costco but included complete road hazard warranty, not the prorated one ....

they look sweet man. I have about 14000 on mine. they have hardly worn. I have rotated them twice about to do # 3. I wish i would have gone w/ 33x12.50x17 instead of 285 70 R17's but that is my only regret!!

oh, i got mine at walmart for 241 a tire.

edit. I apologize, mine are the old M/T's by the way!!

Hey, can't argue with free.....:upsidedow

I am planning on getting the KM2's when I can fit 37's or larger. Possibly after an atlas xfer case and SAS. Time will tell. The damn a/t's are gonna last forever!

BFG 315/70R17's. I know they are a little on the small side for me, but they will have to do for now. I need a matching set of tires so I can drive the damn truck! For some reason, I keep destroying the RR (Kumho) tire. Maybe I have a lead foot? That would explain 9 mpg! But damn those things are sticky as hell!

Very nice looking on your Titan with the blacked out Moto Metal 951s!

Did you/or do you plan to get them siped?
It's pretty cheap, and many America's Tire - Discount Tire stores can do it. Lots of benefits, especially for a MT tire.

One argument I hear for not doing it is the newer tires already have sipes, but these are fairly large molded-in grooves that aren't as effective as the thin cuts that the siping machine's knives produce. I'm definitely going to do this on my next tire, (KM2 or Toyo MT).

Here's a link to a review too:

no, don't think i'll be doing it ... the grooves in these are fine, the older style and even the tread blocks on the toyos could stand to be siped if desired but I think this tread will work ... who knows, i may change my mind later though
