After being told that my Titan needed front struts, and reading how good the Bilstein were I got the 4600. Well, I am disappointed the T rides like a tank over bad roads. I feel every bump thru the steering wheel. Are the 5100 softer or firmer than these? My old shocks were definitely bad, but my truck felt better than now.

Thank you for any suggestions.

I would suggest making sure that something is not bound up in your suspension if it rides that bad. Also, give is some time to wear in and you may find that it softens up a bit.

As for the 5100s, it all depends on what perch you run them on. I personally don't find the top perch to be that stiff on them (2" of lift perch), but some do. I did however find the 5100 on the bottom (0") to be a bit soft for my liking.

Hope that helps.

Bad roads. You would feel it with any strut. 4600 are def better than stock in ever aspect.
