took her in to local Muffler guy, going for a mild to moderate exhaust note

they held on a magna 22 (meh), flowmaster 50 (nice), a 3rd something i have never heard of, and finally the black widow 250 - Pete says he is the only dealer in iowa and im gonna love it ... slap er on!

wow.....

low and throaty at start up but backs off at idle, touch the gas and that RUMBLE kicks in. drove around all evening loving it. picked up the wife and she commented on how quiet it was when we rolled up the windows! yes!

no pings no flub

best so far is there is no sign of a consistent drone at speed - tested in traffic as well as interstate, caught maybe 5 seconds of drone between 4th and OD

so 6 hours of ownership later im here whoring myself for Black Widow !

anyone else on here running one?

stock exhaust mani`s and cats? did you just cut in the muffler? huge difference between headers and stock exhaust outcome.
Stock mani and cats; XE stock is 2 pipe to muffler and 1 out, so we Y jointed the exhaust prior to muffler and then stock tubing out to chrome tip

Obv not a ton of HP gain with just a muffler swap, but I feel a some more torque from takeoff than I did before, did a real nice peel out this morning on the way to work :)

Have a CAI and the engine is audibly 'breathing' better between the two additions.

Next week my programmer arrives, so I think the proof will really be in the pudding when get the tune I want on it.
I'm waiting on a manifold problem before I do any header / catback work. Only 54K miles on my girl so far. Figure this will def tide me over another 40K+ miles. I definitely know the drill though -- I don't post much, ive lurked for the last 5 years --- Cajuns, Uprev and Borla when the manifolds finally go.

Also - Still loving the black widow 250 though!

Next steps:
-Bully Dog incoming!
-Fix some slight body damage on passenger side
-bolt on OEM rear bumper replacement (starting to get visible rust and has dent from a post incident)
-rough country lift 6"
-move to 35"s on new 20s after the winter
