Not sure if this belongs in off-topic or not.

Is the forum closed to new members or something? I wanted to ask a couple questions over there and so I signed up and verified my email address but was then told I needed admin approval too. Been waiting a few days now... even emailed the admin and asked, but haven't gotten any response.

What's the deal over there? Has it been abandoned by the admins or something and is just running on it's own now? That could be why I haven't been given auth by the admins yet.

It take a few days. As i recall the original Bob sold it to Bio-T who has since died. I am not sure who is running it now.

For those of you not familiar with the forum, it is everything about oil and used oil analysis. I have sent my used motor oil into a lab and learned that changing at 3k (with the newer cleaner engines and better oil) is on the futile side.
