where is everyone getting the EXACT date in which their vehicle was made? I looked on the drivers side door pillar and the sticker only give a month and year.....12/03 in my case

You'll find the exact date on the build sheet which may or may not have been left in your truck when you took delivery of it. I believe if you take it to your dealer to have it serviced the build date is on the receipt too.

The last six of mine - built 12-01-03 are 503546

The last six are 500242

so with the last six digits of my VIN being 500242, does that mean my truck was the 242'nd one off the line?

Vin: 501795 (so it was #1795 off the floor)

Those of you with 2003 builds have you experienced any problems? I haven't yet. Wondering if they took their time with ours since they were to be the showcase units for the model. :cheers:

Nothing major so far concerning problems. I had a sunroof drain line leaking and that's it. It took the dealer a few minutes to fix it and I haven't been back since. RF reception is great, no rattles, none of the other issues that people here are talking about. Maybe/hopefully they did take a little more time with the early ones. :cheers:
