This is my first post, I just joined Titan Talk a few minutes ago. I look forward to looking to the group for advice. Now the reason I have joined. I just purchased a used 2010 Titan and plan to use it to tow my travel trailer. My question is in reference to hooking up the brake controller. The Titan I purchased has the hitch receiver, 7 pin connector and even got a brake controller wiring harness from Nissan.
I have a "Reese Brakeman" brake controller. What do I do next? Assume there is a plug or something tucked up under the dash that I plug into.

Thank - David

There is a labeled plug taped up by the steering column. It's pretty much plug and play. I use a Reese Pilot and have no complaints.

Welcome to the forum. Good place to find answers and Lots of cool people. Nice job 4mula1fan, good pics. I have a '14 Pro 4x and plan on running the cable through the dash (as soon as I find a good clean spot) to mount it on top. Just my likings. Also looking to put in the CB but that may take more work.

I hate going by "just put the red/brown wire here" or whatever. I want to see what I'm doing. The advice given is correct, but if you are like me, here's a wiring diagram. On the left side you can see the Electric Brake (pre-wiring) connector, and for that matter, you can also see the 7-pin Trailer Connector. This page is also helpful when things don't work, because it shows the relays and fuses involved. This is from the Haynes manual, 04-14 Titans.

MartyG007 - yes you are correct I did require a little more confirmation. Shortly after receiving the post from Chadp82 I spoke with a technician from etrailer and he provided the information that you did in your attachment. All that being said my brake controller was hooked up correctly and is working. Thanks to all that helped.

Welcome to the forum. I posted a bit back on one other link about an actual tech service manual that I got for my '14. Much more helpful than the Haynes and Chiltons that you find. Glad that you got the help on your question.
