Is everyone else's cruise control lights blinding after dark? Mine are so bright that I have to put something over the light so I can drive.

In the dash? Seriously? I don't even notice them. Use your dash dimmer if it's a problem for you.

I have noticed this too. The dimmer does not work with those indicators. I think most of the "idiot light" indicators are not connected via the dimmer so you can't disable them (turn all the way off).

I find them to be a bit bright also. They shoulda made a 'half bright' mode when the headlights are on.

If they were "OFF", then the "IDIOTS" wouldn't know that there's an idiot light on, now would they? :lol:

You're supposed to be looking at the road, not your dash. :jester:
Mine are pretty much hidden behind my steering wheel. If you're tall enough, you can just adjust your steering wheel until they don't shine right at you. You could also start looking for a fuse that might be able to be pulled. Electrical Tape or foggy Scotch Tape on the dash cover might help too. Maybe you could get some of that spray smoke tint they use on taillights and take the dash cover off, tape off a cool design, and spray smoke the parts you want to see but don't want glaring.

That's not a half-bad idea, Pops! I wonder how much a small piece of tint would cost to slap on that side of the display to dim all those down a bit. I'm not serious enough to take apart the dash..

I would think that tint film is cheap. That could be done using just scraps.

Dang, I wish I still lived in Idaho. I had the coolest guy tint all of my vehicles~I'm sure he would've hooked me up for free, prolly would've taken him 10 min.

yeah my dimmer doesn't work on those lights and they are bright enough that they light my face up at night. It's ridiculous how bright they are. I throw a folded napkin over them and it shines through that. I just wanted to make sure it wasn't just me.
