Hey guys just wanted to know if there are any bubba army out there for you people with sirius in your trucks. I enjoy the show and get to listen on my way home from work everyday. I've tried to listen to stern but can't really relate to them because I feel that they are spoiled by money with their chauffeurs and big houses. Nothing wrong with that it's just hard to listen when they talk about all the stuff they get to do when I am struggling to pay all my bills every month. I just think that bubba and gang are more down to earth like us that hunt and fish and watch nascar. What's your opinion? lol

You talking about Rick & Bubba?? I used to listen them.......but it seemed like all they wanted to talk about was what they ate for dinner or what they did the night before. Got old. I like some current events and a good mixture of humor, not just what they pooped out the night before. One of them's youngest son just drowned in their swimming pool this past week i believe too. Sad story.

No, he's talking about Bubba the Love Sponge on Howard 101. I actually got Sirius just for Bubba, but in the last year, I've been losing interest. Like Stern, he does the same old stuff everyday. Once in awhile, they go off on a rant about personal issues, which is pretty cool, but now he's so pissed at Sirius, it seems he can't wait until his contract is over. More and more I listen to Opie and Anthony on XM. They do INTERESTING radio on FM and XM!
sirius has got bubba so watered down now that its hard to have a decent show when you can't shock the **** anymore and all that other stuff. It got really bad for them yesterday when corporate told them they can't do anything like the dunk tank or the fan with liquid *** and everything else anymore. It suck cause I like listening to them on my way home from work.

I think Bubba being "on the chip" about corporate all the time is just shtick. It's interesting radio, nothing more. I'm a huge Bubba fan but I think all this nonsense is getting a little old. I've been laid off for the last 3 months so I've been away from my Sirius radio for awhile, so maybe I've missed out on something.
As far as Bubba doing the same thing day in and day out, I think he's much more varied than Howard. I can't listen to Howard Stern anymore. Seems as if you've heard one week of shows, you've heard them all. That is unless they're on f*cking vacation again; then you truly do hear what you've already heard.
I just realized something.......is this thread at all Titan related??
As far as Bubba doing the same thing day in and day out, I think he's much more varied than Howard. I can't listen to Howard Stern anymore. Seems as if you've heard one week of shows, you've heard them all. That is unless they're on f*cking vacation again; then you truly do hear what you've already heard.

Sure it is, I listen to Bubba on Sirius in my TITAN. lol...
I like Bubba and Stern but just got the tuner on Christmas so its still fresh for me. I did also like Opie and Anthony, I listened to their terrestrial feed on WBZN in Boston until it switched over to XM at 9:00 I do miss their show. I also liked the afternoon show in Boston (Toucher & Rich) they would do a lot of hidden mic bits and go into local restaurants and whatnot. They actually had a drinking competition with a bracket and everything and played clips of each round, hilarious....
For now its just Bubba though, living in the northeast its interesting to hear a show from another part of the country....

I had never heard of Bubba before Sirius and now I listen everyday at work. He’s way better than Howard. But at this point I’ll be surprised if he last more than a couple months the way he’s going. At least they have a lot of their stuff on iTunes so you can get some of Ned’s crank calls and Manson’s songs.
I swear that fat bastard is TRYING to get fired! He does NOTHING for a show anymore. Like his boy Stern, its ALL about the money, neither give a **** about doing good radio. Now that Bubba is getting paid from regular radio again, he don't care about Sirius. O&A do great radio on FM and XM EVERYDAY! They still have fire inside them. If it wasn't for Wilkow at noon, I think I'd dump Sirius.....can't wait for the merger!!
