Budget Mods - Air Intake

bump.....would like to know answer as well

i'd go for a used good intake before i buy any of these.

hey you know what there is a "new" intake setup that is just coming out....spectre autozone intake kit. you buy the one for a 4.6l gt mustang its a 4'' tube instead of your traditional 3''. a lot of guys have good things to say a bout it and its only like 140.00 with everything you need. go onto active topics and look at the thread named 4'' intake

I have the 2nd one and for the money I'm happy.I kind of wish it was completely boxed in but again it is pretty cheap.

i also have the second one and its decent, buy a different filter for it if you want to but the one that comes with it is decent. i didn't see any real gains in hp or mpg but i defiantly felt the torque curve smooth out a bit better.

You can get a new Volant on ebay for ~262 shipped

if you are going to do it for 140, i'd save up a couple more dollars
