Bull Bar Questions??

Well I've about decided to bite the bullet on a Westin Ultimate Bullbar, but can't decide on what finish to go with. I've got enough chrome on the front end of the truck as it is, but I'm not sure what a black finish would look like. I've thought about bed-lining it or maybe even powder coating it smoke. Just need a little guidance. If anyone could photoshop a chrome one, balck one and a powder coated smoke one on a photo for me let me know. I'll attach a pic.

Here's two pics of my 04 with a Westin if that would help.

Chrome looks great on smoke. Especially with a chrome front grill.
We have a white titan, chrome front grill, and black Westin bullbar. Looks good. I don't have any pictures though.
My vote would be chrome, but I'm obviously biased. :D
I've about decided to go with the chrome bull bar & a set of the Westin Driving Lights in Black as shown below:

Stop the presses!! Changed my mind. Just pulled the trigger on an Aries SS Bull Bar and a set of Warn Wireless auxillary lights. Decided to go with the Aries as I didn't want to have to ditch my OEM skid plate or make any modifications to make it work if I had bought the Westin.

Bull Bar: Aries Bull Bar

Auxillary Lights: Warn Wireless Driving Lights

Got the whole package from Amazon for around $360. Supposed to deliver around the 23rd or 24th, so hopefully I can find some time to do the install that weekend. I'll make sure to post before and after pics.
It's gonna be a pain removing the bolts from the truck to insert the bull bar. You'll need a pipe to do it, and two people.

Take a look:

Well the bull bar came in last Thursday and I was planning on installing the lights prior to putting on the bull bar, but I had been starring me in the face all weekend and I decided to go out and put it on yesterday. Lights will deliver today so hopefully I can fin the time and patience to get them installed this week. Enjoy the pics! Pics will follow of the final install of the lights.

I see you've used an impact gun. Did you have trouble removing the bolts in the front?

Looks nice! Good work.

Used the impact to get the rear bolts off. Had to use a 17mm wrench and a small cheater pipe to get the fronts off, and I managed to do it by myself. Surprising cause I figured they would be thread sealant on them and the same 600lb silverback gorilla that installs the caliper bracket bolts would have installed the bolts in the tow hooks as well. :) Only problem that I had was getting the fronts back in. Since the bar fills in the section of the hole in the bumper, there's no way to reach in through the front, so I had to reach in from behind from underneath the truck. Got them hand tight, and used a small ball pein hammer to peck on the wrench and get them as tight as I could. Hopefully it won't fall off anytime in the very distant future. Overall, very satisfied with the final outcome. Now just to get them purdy Warn driving lights installed. They came in on the brown truck this morning.

Got the lights installed yesterday with the help from a buddy. Super easy install. We had them on in around 30 to 40 minutes. Simples plug and play installation. Very detailed instructions helped out tremendously. Still got a little dress up to do as I can stand to see exposed wiring. Thinking I'll go to local auto parts store and find some wire loom to cover the wires off the back of the lights to give that finished look. Plus it will drive me nuts until I can get that fixed anyways. Tested them on and off road last night. They shine out pretty far with the low beams and fogs, but kinda disappear with the high beams. Overall I'm very satisfied. Have to run them awhile and see how they'll hold up. My first DIY mod on the Titan. Attached are pics. Guess it's time for a new sig pic.

Looks badass! I'm thinking of getting some myself. How bright are those lights? I might change out my headlights to HID first though.

Thanks. According to the light pattern from the Warn site:

About right. I still have to do a little aiming and whatnot. But about spot on on the distances of the beam. They are 55 watt H3 Halogen bulbs.

Quick question concerning bull bars in general. Can you use a front license plate bracket with a bull bar?
