I was eventually going to pick up a bully dog tuner, probably a power pup. My question is, will it make any difference what tune I should or should not run because I already have a 2 degree timing advance done to my truck. Basically I dont want to run the premium tune and have wayy to much timing added. Thanks

I have a power pup. There is a big difference between the 2° advance and the regular tune with the WOT removed.

the truck will automatically retard or advance the timing to compensate for the 2* advance you now have. you will lose that advance when you install the BD tune anyway. you can't "stack" programs.

No, you can't stack them, but...

If you have the advance on your truck first time you plug in your BD, it's copying that as part of the "stock" tune. The BD will allow you to adjust the advance independent of any tune anyway, so it becomes a moot point. You can run an advance, or no advance on any of the available tunes, stock or otherwise.
