I was letting a friend smoke a cigarrette in my car yesterday, and he burnt a HOLE in my passenger captain chair. Does anyone know where i can find replacement cloth or buy a new factory seat without paying dealship prices?

You can always tan his a** and use it for an insert to the seat.

Why would you let someone smoke in a Titan? Have you no shame? Sell the truck at once and buy a Chevy

aftermarket seat covers (like at advance or auto zone, or pep boys) easiest and cheapest, though not my first choice. or i think you can buy replacement factory seat covers (ours have a zipper to remove the factory seat cover)

You could ask your friend to offer to pay for the repair or have him file a claim on his insurance. Otherwise, write it off as a lession learned like don't let friends smoke in your truck, borrow your tools, or drive your vehicles.

Here is another thought. If the fabric can be pulled off, what about stitching it from behind to close the hole? It won't be perfect, but it would be cheap and you wouldn't have to look at a burn hole?

Dealers use companies all the time to fix burn holes on used cars, ask for the Used Car Mgr, these guys have contacts to fix just about anything and make it presentable for sale, cost usually about $75

if it's cloth, not leather.. it would cost you about $40 to buy a replacement from the dealer.

just take your time... remove the old one and install the new one over the original cushion.

correction:

It was a looong time ago, but I have to correct myself here. The parts guy told me the wrong thing-

If you have to replace the driver's side seat cover, then you have to replace the entire seat (only the part you sit on, not the back). You cannot purchase the cloth by itself.

For the driver's side, it's around $530!

I don't know how much the passenger side is.
