I own a 2010 SE 4x4 non BT with hitch and trailer wiring from factory. With that said I will be buying a tow dolly with electric brakes this weekend and wanted to know if the electric brakes would work as is or if I would have to buy any other equipment to make it work. I appreciate the help in advance.

Just a brake controller if you dont already have one. Besides thatv you should be good to go

Any specific brake controller that works with the T? Or are they one size fits all?

They all work. They make specific wire harness for each make model. I run the Prodigy P3, but that would be a major overkill for what you need. I like Tekonsha brand the most for brake controllers

I love my Tekonsha P3, though might be a little over kill.

When it comes to braking there is no such thing as "overkill". Get the P3. Mine works great.

I took the plunge and bought the dolly yesterday. I also loaded and brought home my first car. It was a 7 hour drive home loaded. I bought the dolly with electric brakes but towed without the lm working as I had not purchased the brake module yet. I gotta say that the T performed great. I appreciate all the help. I will be purchasing a p3 in the near future.
