my tail pipes are starting to deteriorate along with my muffler outlet welds. While replacing the muffler and tailpipes I figured it would be a good idea to switch out the stock b pipes and y pipe too.

Quick list of mods: AEM brute force CAI, helix TBS, JBA shorties with welded cats. FM 40 series delta flow 3in inlet with dual 2.50 outlets.

No sense in keeping the exhaust traffic jam with the stock b pipes and y pipe so I am considering cajun 2.5 catless b-pipes and cajun 2.5/3in y-pipe for now then uprev after tax return.

Any yays or nays or suggestions on this?

Flow master has a good note ive never heard of the other one you mention, but after hearing the borla system on my truck i would go for that or a corsa system. My truck has headers so that probably makes the exhaust sound good, you already have them so no problem.

With Uprev and the Cajun Bpipes with ypipe you will notice a difference I guarantee you. The only restriction is the cats on the shorties. Flowmasters are not so great on these trucks especially with headers as the FM develops a lot of Cis/rasp but the Borla or JBA muffler will do a number on that stuff. Headers make all the difference in the world with sound and muffler selection.

Since Kentucky does not regulate emissions. I would really like to trade in the restrictive shorties for long tubes and go completely cat less but I'd rather get the rest of the exhaust completed right now and get long tubes later. So far I love the sound of my current flow master but if I hadn't already ordered an exact replacement I would've switched up to something you all have recommended.

The JBA muffler which I can get you without having to purchase the whole Catback is a great muffler and tamer. The Borla 40944 and 400436 are great choices for single in/out exhaust. The UQ resonator is used with headers to lower the volume and kill the drone on all mufflers.
