Guys I will be having shoulder surgery Friday AM due to "Weightlifters shoulder" Basically overuse with welding and working the grinder. I'm not sure how long I will be down for, possibly 8-12 weeks is what the Dr says. I will still be able to answer calls and questions and sell the products as just the builds will slow down. I will have some help with the builds we will just not be shipping out as fast. Joe will still be tuning like crazy so don't hesitate to work him or call me.

I had a partial tear of thr right shoulder rotator and a clavical excision same side with a achor to hold bicep tendon in place. All this was from a Titan header install back in July on a friends Titan. I could not pinpoint the actual injury but the pulled/sore muscle feeling just never weny away and got worse with all the welding and grinding and use of the joint. PT is going to be a [email protected]#%! I can tell that right now. I appreciate all the comments and prayers and cant wait to get back to what i like doing in the shop.

Good luck with the recovery.

I had my shoulder worked on about 10 years ago. I had a torn labrum. They repaired it, then rebuilt & tightened everything on their way out. It was a big overhaul, and my arm was confined to a brace for about 8 weeks, the first 4 of which my arm was literally strapped to my mid section so I couldn't move it much.

PT was a bear, but in the end I was glad I had it done. No more shoulder pain! Ok, maybe a little when the weather changes, but is more more of a discomfort and not painful.

Again, good luck! Don't rush the recovery.

Jeff, I hope your recovery is going well. I had a similar surgery about 10 years back. Mine was all bone work, no muscle.

All is going well and now with about 5 PT sessions range of motion is limited still but way improved from day 1. Might even get to do some welding and give the BNL a break very soon. Thanks for the well wishes.....
