quick question...I have an 2011 with stock 18" wheels. I found a nice set of stock 17" wheels and tires from a 2004. the backs fit perfect but in the front the caliper is too big for the wheel to go on. is there any way I can use smaller calipers up in the front?

Don't do it. The brakes were updated for better stopping power on the later models. Others may disagree, but there was a good reason for the update. Recommend you move on and look for 18" or bigger wheels.

There are a few 17's that fit, but very few, list is on here someplace. But yeah, don't do a smaller caliper, no bueno.

Definitely agree with the other guys, do not downgrade to smaller calipers on the truck. It's not worth it and it's best to stick with your 18" wheels or go bigger.
