well if anybody has ever had this happen when going offroad? well i took her out and was doing great till a point when i went up this steep hill when i was about to reach the top the truck started to vibrate like crazy i beryl made it up since i step on the gas but wouldn't go any faster. once i made it up i pulled forward away from the edge and it still kept on vibrating till i came to a complete stop. then i parked and check under and nothing. i then put on D and busted a U it kinda did it but not as much. i went down the hill and when i was pulling up a smaller lump and turn it started to VIBRATE all the truck i couldn't go over 20mph. then i took her slowly to the road and she worked perfectly with no vibrations????:confused: Me and Mikey checked but nothing everything seemed fine i tried to power burn and i still could. then i floored it and when i hit second gear i heard a crack noise Mikey said it sounded like the shaft but it doesnt vibrate on the road only when im in the dirt going up something steep?? can anybody help. The VIBRATION feels like when your driving a stick shift car and you dont put the gear in right it shakes and turns off thats how my truck felt?? any ideas guys

Your driveline was binding up because your wheels weren't able to slip.

Could that be it?
well idk after i was gona exit to the pavement it still vibrated kinda like a stick car when its about to turn off or when your about to run out of gas the car shakes it felt like that

Wheels couldn't slip is probably the issue.
Unless of course you have a front axle flopping around in there or something.

Be sure to turn your VDC Off??? It sounds to me like you have ABLS/VDC and the VDC was trying to control your traction, just a guess though. How about you gas level??? Could the fuel pump have had a hard time getting gas due to all the gas going to one side of the tank????

Sounds like ABLS & throttle control garbage.

Looks like ABLS is an option for a 2008 SE 4x2. Do you know if you have that?

2008 Nissan Titan King Cab Specifications

ABLS applies the brake to the spinning rear wheel and cuts the throttle.

If you have ABLS, you might pull the ABS fuse and try that hill again. I think somebody posted how they modded the ABS fuse with a switch so they could turn it off when they went offroad.

TrueTrac cures that, unfortunately they currently only make it for 2004-2007 because the axle shafts are bigger in 2008+.
