So I went out to check for this "mood" light....and I'll be damned.

so I went to the dealer since I was close and I paid $1.67 will pick it up tomorrow and I'll take pics of it once I get it and ready to intall.

Wow, I should call my dealer, maybe they have my bulb in stock already too.
Thanks for the update, I'll call them instead of waiting for them to call me as my only chance to do this work is on the weekends.

I am going to have to check this out also. My bimmers have those "mood" lights and they have aftermarket LED pNp ones available (from either one of those fancy schmancy companies for big $$$ or superbrightleds.com).

well here it is it took me about 3 min to put the bulb and the console back up and running, if you have the bulb the whole thing should take about 5 min. make sure you pull the console with care and not to hard once you take the bolts out it just snaps in and out. the pix where taken with the cell cam and hope you can make what the pic shows

ok so i played around with mine today. mine would work, but only sometimes. i took it out and had a look. the base of the light is similar in operation to a xmas light bulb, and if you have a bulb with just 2 wires on it you can insert it into the base and make it work. i tried a bulb out of a mini mag light and it blew instantly, so i dug out the voltage reader and its putting out 12v at the contacts.

so.. we need a 12v led with 2 wires like an xmas bulb. or a 12v bulb in general. any ideas?

EDIT2: it looks like 4mm that is what size the bulb is.

EDIT3: last one.. i sent them an email to see how i figure out what size i need. I will update when i get a reply.

EDIT4: (sorry) if you hover over the part listing on the schematic on http://www.courtesyparts.com/titan-.../genuine-nissan-parts/body-electrical/264-room-lamp/-c-1244_1245_1281_1290.html it says, 2 per vehicle.. where the heck is the other one?

i found a schematic on the led site that had measurements. I can almost guarantee it is the neowedge-4x the only difference is the base is taller. that shouldnt matter since it was tucked in there pretty far anyway.

so now the next question.. what color, and regular or super bright..

just ordered one of the white regular brightness neowedge-4x bulbs. it came out to $5.68 with shipping. will update when i get it in.

Anyone have some detailed instructions on removing the console?

i have the smaller one since i have a sun roof. there are 2 screws inside the sunglasses compartment, then you just give it a solid tug. there are 2 clips that hold it up. you dont even have to disconnect the wire in order to take out the bulb.

Does any one have pics of their new colored bulb, or what the difference looks like when they widened hole for bulb want to see if it's somthing I want to do to the T..

Just ordered my Neo4-R 's. 1 in regular Red and 1 in High Power Red. I'll be using the low power one to replace the Bluetooth light if I was correct....

Hey Beason so just to make sure I order the correct one I need to order this one correct? 4mm NEO4-x ? I'm ordering the White NEOx-W to match the other LEDs in my T.

that is the one i ordered. the white neo 4-x. i havent received it yet so i cannot say defiantly that is it. but im 99.9% sure.
