People do it on the stock rims with just a leveling kit, but most have to do the pinch weld mod. Think there are a couple that got away with just mud guard removal and fender liner modification. With a 4" and stock rims probably just mud guard removal at the most.
On mine I had to trim at 2.5" with aftermarket rims that stick out 1.4" more than the OR rims, and when I had it at 4" with the hat flipped DRE coilovers, it looked like it still would have rubbed with my 34's, but with stock rim they would have probably cleared with just the 2.5".
