Have a brand new 2008.5 Titan Se. The cargo & tailgate lights stay on for quite some time after shut down. Not sure why. Cargo light switch is in off position. Any insight, anyone? Thx - Sam :eyebrow::eyebrow:

when you hit the lock button on your key fob it should go off. If you dont it'll stay on for about 30 seconds

Yes, its normal. If you press the "Lock" button on your remote they will go off. My '06 does it.

Thanks for the reply. I know the lights should go off but they dont. Suppose Ill have to take it in.

door open? I know if one of my doors is open or not fully closed, the light stays on for about 10 minutes. If you lock the door, yes the light SHOULD go off. Unless you have a delay (kinda like after you turn the truck off, your headlights stay on for 30seconds)

How long is quite some time? Help us out here. Even pressing the remote I get some "courtesy" time before the go out.
