This might work, but it's not for the new 8' bed...

where are you located?

there's a shop near me that makes them out of recycled tires. i can take a pic of the one i had in my other truck tonight if you want. cost me about 60 bucks a few years back.

they're about 1/2" thick and heavy as hell. they basically shred old tires and then use this giant iron to melt them into a big sheet that they then cut out with a pattern for your pickup.

I'm in California. I'd be very much interested. Do they also make it for the tail gate?
No... it's just a bed mat. i suppose they could cut something for the gate, but you'd have to figure out a way to affix it. they're heavy as hell so it would be challenging.

i'll shoot a pic of mine tonight. i didn't get one for my titan but had one for a time in my hardbody. i took it out in an effort to increase fuel economy (the beater is now my commuter) since, like i said, the thing is heavy as hell. LOL

anyway... will post pics tonight.
I made my own !

At Wal-Mart they have 5' x 8' low nap, backed and basted (thats the trim around the edge) carpet rolls for $20. I picked black, but they have 5 or 6 other colors.
It's pretty heavy duty and is the perfect width. All I had to do was cut straight across the top to make it shorter (put the cut end up next to the bed back) & do a little cutting around the wheel wells.

The part you cut off the top would probably cover the tailgate, you'd just need to mount it somehow (double sided carpet tape ??).

It's easy to pull out & cleans up with a stiff broom or shop vac if you want.
Looks like it could be hosed off too, but would take a while to dry out.

Figured for $20 I'd give it a shot, not like it's going to break the bank if it gets trashed :)
