Hey i have a 2008 titan and I live in the Cayman Islands where cat's aren't required and my service engine soon light came on, i got it scanned at the mechanic and they told me my cats were starting to get clogged (wouldn't be a problem for like a year) but my dad took his out on his f150 and replaced them with regular pipe so i'm wondering if it will affect performance or if the ecu will have problems with it. Help is much appreciated thanks

If the cats in question are the front ones (4x4 has two) then yes it will affect your ecu. You will end up running lean which will hurt your engine in the long run. You can get uprev that will adjust your afr to equal out.
