hey guys, 05 Titan LE...my center console leather has started to crack. i have the kind that folds up to make a seat, and you fold down to have cup holders and center console storage. my question is how do i remove the lid so that i can recover this? i have tried removing the pins at the back of the lid but to avail. i tried googling but apparently nobody has ever done this lol thanks guys

open the lid, remove all the torx screws (T-15 IIRC). Then Carefully seperate the two layers of the plastic on the lid. The lower skeletonized section snaps into the rim of the upper (actual lid) section, and that is what holds the actual upholstery on. Be SURE you are ready to do this, because once you have it off, even getting it back together just as it was is a chore..let alone re-skinning it. good luck.

why cant nissan make it easy like everyone else?? knock the pin out and remove the lid lol separating the 2 layers of plastic without breaking a tab is impossible, especially with 12 year old plastic.. gonna give her hell though!! lol
