Hi,

I'm hoping someone can shed a little light (pun intended) on an issue I'm having with my new (to me) 2013 Pro-4X.

None of the center console backlights come on. I still get a radio/nav display, but the A/C function button/lights, gear shift and radio button lights don't work. However, if I push an airflow button it will light up. Every other light, inside and out, seems to be working (unless there are some burned out ones in locations that I don't know about).

I know there was an "illumination" fuse under the hood on the older Titans, but that doesn't seem to be there anymore. I checked the obvious fuses and found none blown. This seems like it might be more than just burned out bulbs since the problem is fairly widespread. Right now it's impossible to use the controls at night, which gets a little irritating.

Does anyone have any insights? I've been looking through the FSM's, but haven't found a wiring diagram that specifically lists the lights I'm having problems with.

Do you mean fuse 36 under the hood?

Checked 14 and 19 in cabin, those were good to go.
Yeah sorry. I remember when mine went out it was a fuse in the cabin.

So fuse 36 in the IPDM was not blown, unfortunately. That would have been too easy. I checked just about every fuse related to the lighting system I could find and all were ok.

Any other ideas?

I'm having difficulty finding specific info on the backlights in the FSMs, otherwise this would be a little easier to troubleshoot.

on my 2010 the back light is tied into the exact same wiring as the dash lights, button lights and door switch lights. it is a blue wire with red stripe, and it runs throughout the interior
