I have a 2017 pro4X and I pull a travel trailer, 23 ft. I have the standard rear view mirrors. I need the big tow mirrors. I seen the post on changing to big tow but that was posted in 2014 . 2016 and 2017 a bit different. Anybody do this on the second generation Titan? Would like to hear from you,

Steven

It can be done. I did it in reverse. I had the extendable mirrors and didn't like them.

Having said all of that, I replaced my extendable mirrors on a 2017 Titan SL with tow package, with the regular style mirrors on the Titan SL without the Tow Package. All the options I had before were retained. The mirrors I now have also had the power folding feature and I think I can get that by changing the Switch Assembly Mirror Control to the one that is on the regular SL because I believe the harnesses will have the wires in them.

I think it may have been significant that I exchanged with the same model - SL (w/tow pkg) and SL (without Tow Package). I don't know what functions you have in your existing mirrors. Does the Pro4X also come with the towing package? What I did was to look up the VIN numbers for SL's without the tow package, and order the mirrors that were OEM for that model, looking at the Window Stickers online on SL's for sale with the same mirror features I had.

I don't know what mirror features you have on your Pro4X, if any. I could sell you my old mirrors. They are on Ebay right now as a set, but I don't know what functions you would get if you don't have the same functions now. I have lane change warning light, puddle light, memory, heated, power adjustment.

So you have a travel trailer and got a Pro4X w/o the utility package which included the tow hitch, 7pin plug, trailer light check, integrated trailer brake and the tow mirrors?

Thanks , I found the mirrors, still interested, these do fold in manually, right . Are they power. , heated, and have the blind spot warning ?. Would you listen to a reasonable offer? I have the mirrors that you replaced these with . Did you have any problem mounting them ?.let Me know and I Will decide soon. Thank You. Do you take pay pal as payment ?

Yes. Manual fold. power adjustment, heated and blind spot warning, and puddle light.

Thought my price was reasonable. I had them listed on ebay at $300ea or $600. They were only on the truck for 4,611 miles and do not have even a bug mark on them.

They are $714.78 each full retail from your Nissan Dealer, and $452.10 from the cheapest on-line Nissan Dealer parts department, so $275 each would seem to be reasonable.

Yes, I would take payment through Paypal. My email addresss is my User Name on these forums.

Regards.

Sorry, I omitted answering your other question. In the end, I had them mounted at a dealer. I had a "dead day" while I was traveling and I just went in to the local Nissan Dealer.

I had planned to do it myself. The only complication is that the connection to the vehicle harness is behind the door panel, so you have to remove, or at least loosen it at the corner closest to the mirror. The risk there is that the plastic clips will break and you have to get new ones. The mirror attaches with 4 nuts which are accessible behind the black, somewhat triangular piece you will see at the corner of the inside of the door behind the mirror. You remove that my pulling it off. It is just fastened with adhesive. If you do it slowly and carefully, you can reuse it once. Probably not a second time. The part number for those is 80292-ez00A (R) and 80293-ez00A (L) and they cost about $10 online (Nissanpartsplus.com) so I bought replacements. That's all there is to it.

Ok, that is a reasonable price , you include shipping right ? One more thing if you dont mind , would you measure the length of the mirrors as they would be on the truck. I have a single car garage and the mirrors like you installed on your Titan is what I have on my pro 4X. I need to make sure they will fit in my garage without having to fold them when ever I park in the garage. The truck fits in the garage just fine now Use my e mail to send me your pay pal info so you can send me a bill. Feel free to call me if you like. Thanks
