I just checked under my new truck. Nissan decided to cheap out on us and give us a full size spare....on a cheap steel wheel! WTF?! $40,000 for a new truck and I get a steelie? My 04 SE had a full size spare on a 5th alloy wheel! :futwice:

Yes I have the 4 black metal tie downs along with the utilitrak. I've never used them before though. I always use the cleats.
I took the step rails because the kids can't get in the damn truck...lol. And they were giving me no more on the trade for them so...I kept em'. I took my Nissan bug deflector also. The soft tonno was a no-go because of the different bed size. Thanks, I'm loving it. Hope your Fronty serves you as well as my 02 SC CC LB did.

I have alloy too. Whew, I will sleep better now.

I wonder if Pro-4X has steel because rim is wider to accomodate 285 tires? Also, steel is strong like bull.
All Titan wheels are the same width. In fact, other than the 20s on the LE, all the 08 wheels are the same size 18" wheel. I think maybe I'll check with my dealer.

wtf, i just searched this out after i saw that my spare is a 17" when I have 18" on the truck. I was curious as to why those wheels looked SOOO new with new rims and tires. ****tty 17" steel rim that's not even the right size tire. going to have to contact the dealer on this.
Take another look. I have the PRO-4X with 18" alloys and they gave me a steely as a spare BUT....it's still a matching tire on an 18" rim. I'd be very surprised to hear you had a different size altogether. If you do, go back to the dealer ASAP.

I bought a used alloy wheel to use as a spare but it didn’t come with the tire pressure sensor. I called dealer to buy another sensor but they were not sure if it is possible to program a fifth sensor into the system. In other words, if they added one TPS, the limit may be four so a TPS on an existing wheel may no longer be recognized by the trucks tire pressure system.

Anyone know if five wheels can be programmed into the trucks Tire Pressure System?

Thanks!
It can only handle 4 sensors. But you can put a 5th sensor on the spare so that you can then use the spare in your tire rotation if you want and not have to swap it from another wheel. You will, however, have to have the dealer program it when you decide to use it.
