2016 Nissan Titan XD Diesel. Driving on I-75 yesterday. About 5 hours into the trip "Check Engine Light" comes on. Arrived back home and went to Nissan this morning.
Codes returned were P0401-00 and P244D-00. Both appear to be EGR-related.
The tech said there was a Nissan Tech Bulletin on this (NTB16-037C), and that they performed an ECM Reprogram.
I also asked him if the engine was on the latest firmware. He said that NTB16-037C was indeed the latest. I told him I would check in with him quarterly to ensure I keep up with latest versions.
I can't find any specific information on that Tech Bulletin. Anybody got any insight into it?
