Hello all,
I'm new here. I have a 2019 Titan SV with just under 29k miles. If I idle while drying my car after a car wash or get stuck in a low drive through my check engine light comes on. The truck may rattle a bit and I have low power. I can reverse at full speed. I have to cut if off and back on a few times and then I'm good to go again. The check engine light will remain on. If I restart my truck that evening it will still be on. When I restart it in the am, it's off like nothing ever happened. I won't experience any issues until I'm forced to idle again.

This doesn't happen at a light. It's more like around 10 min of idling. I'm not 100% sure if it happens in park and drive (I can't remember if I switched my truck into park in that drive through). I know it is while I'm not moving.

I have service done every 5k miles. I have made sure that my gas cap is tight. Nissan checks my air filter and that hasn't been super dirty. Any ideas? Or other symptoms/clues I should be looking for?

I see. Good to get it on the record with them now anyways. Have them idle the truck for a while to see if it can be re-created. Good luck, intermittent check engine lights are a pain.
Thanks man! It goes in tonight so fingers crossed. I think she's just jealous. This all started as soon as I bought my Challenger LOL.

record it next time it happens. that is similar to what mine did and what caused my truck to get a new engine. mine would drop the idle and hte check light would come on (low idle means low oil pressure, fyi) so i would hold it up with my toe because i didn't want to get bearing damage or hear knocking. i didn't have the low power problem though. they changed a sensor or two on mine, than the main engine wiring harness, than nissan said drop an engine in. but video tape what happens or they will give the ol "we cannot replicate the problem" and send you home

I was able to replicate the issue at the dealership. As soon as I told the service rep my symptoms she said she believes it is an issue with the throttle body. They are going to start with relearning/reprogramming it.
