To those of us who have no idea what your invoice was, how much did you pay for the truck then? There's not a Nissan built today worth ANYTHING near $40K IMO!

Invoice is quite easy to look up and is really the only number you should deal off of. Ignore sticker all together.
My sticker was somewhere over $40k. I don't know what. Invoice was around $35k - $36k and I got it for $33k. I traded in my 98 dakota and got it down to $27k.

The local dealer on town is offering $8,200 off the MSRP of any 08 Titan in stock. I think that is a pretty good deal. What do you guys think?

Again, there's not a Nissan out there worth paying over $40K for IMO. $45,000 for a Titan? That's amazing to me. What does it have over say.....a $25k model....nothing that adds $20k! You get the same basic truck with Nissans embarassing crap they call leather (with a vinyl rear seat mind you), a NAV system you can substitute for under $300, not much else that makes up for the cost. Is it just me or what?....lol.

I picked up the 08 SE in my signature for $28K, or $200 below invoice, and about $8K off MSRP. This was from a small, low volume dealership. Probably could have gone a little lower as the sales manager didn't have to think about it very long.

I got my 08 Crew cab SE 4X4 with preffered package for 27k out the door. It has full length running boards, tow package, upholstery treatment, etc.

Sounds a little too unbelievable. That would make it around 23000-24000 for a 4wd SE CC. I paid 30,425 and the msrp was 36,475 on my 07 4x4 SE CC .

Just thought I'd throw this out there. Had a dealer call me back today with the bottom line OTD (TTT) 08 PRO 4X BT/ leather, bed liner, mats, bed extender, $33,4000.00 The sales price was $30,300. MSRP $40K. Is this a steal? Should I jump on it, or is this pretty common?

I haven't seen a PRO 4x with leather. That is pretty damn cheap. I paid 33,700 a year ago for my 2007 SE CC OR with no leather.

Depends on what invoice is. And what rebates are. Take invoice, minus rebates and that's what you should pay.
