Hey guys, need some help on this one. The last week or two weve
finally been getting decent enough weather to have the windows down on my T sometimes while I'm driving. Well, I noticed when coming to a stop when stepping on the brakes I hear a couple clicks or pops, it almost sounds like a small rocking being thrown from the tire and hitting the underside of the truck, in fact the first time I heard it I thought that what it was just that. Til I heard it again...so I attributed it to the brakes (sounds like from the driver rear) maybe a broken clip or something like that, but also Ive been noticing it sometimes when turning at slow speeds.. Usually (not always) after just taking off from a stop. I've been all under the truck wiggling, bouncing on the suspension, looking for anything...wiggled the driveshaft thinking it could be a ujoint, but everything seems tight... Although while I was under the truck I did notice a leak from the rear differential, thinking a pinion seal. The diff isn't making any howling or grinding, and it wasn't all that low on fluid when I checked ( went ahead and added a little anyway). The thing is, I can't make the truck reproduce this sound all the time...getting annoying. Any ideas?
