As soon as I shut off the engine there's a loud clunk noise from under the hood that I can't figure out. Is this something common? It's not the vent noise under the dash it's definitely coming from the engine bay somewhere

Just checked them out and there fine motor doesn't move at all.

Mine does that too. It happens about two seconds after I shut off the engine. I have an enclosed garage, so I can hear it well. It makes a "shuuuunk" sound. I don't know what it is, either. It sounds like it's coming from the engine bay.

It's normal. It has something to do with the vaccum still in the intake of the engine when you fist shut the engine off.

I wonder why it's never done it before or maybe I just didn't notice. Sounds like when you send the canister back to the teller at the bank just louder.

It's more noticeable if you have a CAI. I only noticed it after I did that.
