Wow.....That paint job is pretty ugly
Thanks for following along on the build!anmut said:The truck looks like it should be a slammed 4x2. What kind of morons jacks up a truck and then drives around with low profile tires?
Why wouldn't you put a lift on it? Do you have some sort of agreement with Nissan?mikeputc said:Thanks for following along on the build!
The picture of the truck is just an illustration to show the paint job that folks voted on. We're not going to touch the suspension or put low pro tires on it. It's a hard-core factory 4x4 and it needs to stay that way.
The truck goes to paint today at Syndicate Auto in San Diego.

Nope. No agreement. We just didn't want to turn it into a monster truck. It's got a pretty good stock suspension and ride height.Kortiz said:Why wouldn't you put a lift on it? Do you have some sort of agreement with Nissan?
Help us out. Check out weldracing.com and suggest a few wheels to vote on.FourDoor said:No lift? Now I'm really interested to hear the wheel tire combos you guys are going to want us to pick from.
Just curious if the truck actually got painted yet. Pickuptruck.com isn't showing any new updates. :ugh:mikeputc said:Thanks for following along on the build!
