I heard folks wanted OEM exhaust manifolds and b pipes especially if they are in California or other emissions states.....these were taken off my 2012 with 16k miles truck. Cats are still like new on manifolds and on b pipes. Manifolds are the factory reinforced ones...no more cracking manifolds.

Someone make an offer soon or they are off to the landfill.

Did I say the perfectly good exhaust back is free with purchase of manifolds/bpipes...just pay shipping ! Seriously !

Just a comment about the manifolds, nothing about your price - the "new" manifolds crack just like the old ones. The plate may add a little bit of extension to how long it takes to crack, but they do still crack.

There are FOUR plates with angles welded on these manifolds, in strategic locations. I guess I haven't heard about any of the factory reinforced manifolds cracking, but I guess anything can fail eventually ?

You selling aftermarket stuff ? Or just feeling like messing with someone else's post

Thanks for bombing my effort to sell exhaust system.....with nothing more than your OPINION...

You have proof of your OPINION, then post some photos of cracked FACTORY reinforced exhaust manifold....looks like you're new to forum too WELCOME, but how about some thought before you post....I would appreciate it.

Well, let's see if I can take these in order:

1. If you search the forum you'll find plenty of posts on the "new" manifolds cracking. The welded plates help but they did not solve the problem. The manifold steel is too thin and the stress of the cats cracks the 4th collector on each side

2. I'm not selling anything, just clarifying a point in your post that isn't correct. I actually don't think it's a bad price for the system. But to say these solve your problem permanently, nope.

3. It's not my opinion. There's plenty of posts on here. Also, Nissan extended the warranty on these parts specifically because of the cracking issue. It is a known issue.

4. My manifolds are cracked, at least one. I can hear it. I have the "new" manifolds, which replaced the "old" manifolds, which were also cracked. The "new" ones made it about 65k miles.

5. I'm not new. I've been here since 2004.

6. In answer to your "threat" PM, which is posted below - I don't take to threats well. I'm sorry that my clarification upset you, but after 13 years and 2 Titans I think I know what I'm talking about. I'm not going to apologize for telling the truth. If you follow me around trying to piss on my posts, the only thing that's going to happen is that you're going to get banned from this forum.

For the record, all, here's the PM:

THX for bombing my post for OEM exhaust system.

Sure would like to SEE your proof of badmouthing my stuff for sale.

Seriously....these are FACTORY REINFORCED off a garaged, no salt exposure 16k mile truck.....I've read that even the old style lasted for upwards of 100k...

I would at least like an apology on the thread if you can't provide SOLID proof of your opinion.

If you can't do apology, I promise I'll be watching for anything you might want to sell or post for matter, and I can probably be as creative as you are JD

That's kind of my thing - to outlast everyone else :laugh:

I certainly wasn't trying to disparage his manifolds. I'm not even opposed to using OEM manifolds to replace cracked ones - I have a set hanging out in my office that are going on my truck - but for anyone new hanging around that has this problem they should understand the "new" manifolds aren't a permanent solution. That's all, really. For someone who needs a whole exhaust system, including manifolds, his price ain't so bad.

On a side note, every time I see your post numbers I just about die from shock. I'm almost ashamed to be here 2 years longer and have about 1/75th the number of posts!

Maybe I would have appreciated this jerk not bombing my ad for perfectly good OEM exhaust system, that would work for a LONG time for many folks out there wanting to (or depending on where they live, having to) stay with OEM exh system... Not every one can switch to headers , catless b pipes, etc. or afford dealer prices for replacing their exhaust system components.

You all want to kick me off forum.....have at it....maybe you need to look at somebody else who is trolling the forum....just saying !

The 2007 and newer manifolds are reinforced from the factory but still crack just out of warranty. The bracing was a bright eye from Nissan to stop warranty repairs and it worked out on their end. 90-130K miles is usually when those let go. Guys out in California buy used manifolds all the time so good luck on the sale.

Thanks nightowl.....I bought your B pipes for my truck....YOU TOLD ME that folks want to buy the perfectly good manifolds and OEM pipes and exhaust system....you said go to the forums, so here I am and everybody is screwing up my effort to find a home for this system.....which would probably last someone 100,000 miles if not more...they don't all fail.

And you know what....even the aftermarket stuff will eventually fail also...Will a set of long tubes hanging off an engine with Bpipes hanging on them last forever.....NO!

So thanks again for the "HELP" to sell my system. you and others on this forum.... What a waste of my time.....

On a good note the Vibrant Resonator I got from you tamed the loud MF muffler drone perfectly !

Seems like a lot of whining about a non-issue here. Nobody has said anything untrue on this thread except your early claims the new design manifolds solve the cracking issue. I don't understand your attitude here, but you're ruining a lot of the chance you have at a sale by being abrasive and rude. Everyone has said your price is fair and wished you luck with the sale. You're making the situation worse by insulting good folks on here who are known quantities. It makes you look like a problem, and nobody wants to get involved with a problem.

Settle down and let the process run. Manifolds are something not everyone needs/buys all the time, and it's going to take the combination of yours being available and someone from an emissions state having a need to get them sold. Until then, you'd be well advised to take a step back, put your pride aside, find some civility, and stop bashing people for correcting your mistake early in the thread. It's up to you whether you can take constructive criticism and change the tone of your posting, or just stay ticked off and attack me, too. But so far, nobody but you has done anything ugly on this thread. You posted false information, known to be false to most of the guys on this forum, and somebody politely corrected you, and you've been rude and combative since then. Maybe acting like an adult, thanking people for providing information you didn't have, and being patient while you wait for a buyer would be wise.

Please completely remove me and my registration from this forum as so many seem to want me gone including now website management.
You could also pull this complete thread since it is apparently so offensive. I assume you have way to accomplish that.
I have also emailed the webmaster with a request to remove my registration from the website.
