Axle problems are on the older T's. With the longbed and factory tow package you will have no problem with towing your setup.

Looking at ordering a crew cab ,long bed 4x4 .After reading alot of the posts about axle problems is making me nervious.Most post seem to be about 2004-2007 trucks,but I can't really tell.
Has the axle issues been cured on the newer trucks?
Is there any other issues these trucks have that a buyer should be aware of?
I'm getting rid of a regular cab Dodge ,Need the crew cab for my now larger familly.I'll be towing an 18.5 foot 5th wheel ,and sometimes doubles with quads on a flat bed .I have scaled this load at 7500 total pounds . Also towed 1500 miles with an 05 Dakota so the Titan should be ok .
Panning on leaving truck stock as possible,with the exception of the towing equipment. Please share your opinions

Thanks for the reply. Iknow all trucks have their quirks ,figure these days with all the info floating around on the web gives the new guy a little advantage by knowing what he is getting into.
I know keeping the truck stock is boring , just like driving the speed limit .

Not sure if the seats have changed much since 04, but they are very comfortable. I'm like 6'3", 225 and i always start getting uncomfortable on long trips, but not in the Titan. I always get random comments on how comfortable the seats are from friends that haven't been in my truck for extended periods of time.
The rear ends, axles, suspension....all those have been beefed up from 08 on. The seat changes are so slight but they are very comfortable. I have the longbed myself and to me, it's the ONLY way to go if towing...especially if it's a 5er. I tow a 30' 5th wheel with no problems around 7400 loaded. Seats are great.
Been highly impressed with my 2 Titans. When I went shopping in '08 for a new truck, I read about them all and drove them all. Guess what I bought?

The sv model is just fine , not to much fancy stuff , but just enough . Nobody stocks the long bed so I will have to custom order . Has anybody custom ordered have any advice to share on making the deal?
I would get the OEM e-locker if buying a 2011. TrueTrac and Arb only work with 2004 thru 2007.
