Axle problems are on the older T's. With the longbed and factory tow package you will have no problem with towing your setup.
The rear ends, axles, suspension....all those have been beefed up from 08 on. The seat changes are so slight but they are very comfortable. I have the longbed myself and to me, it's the ONLY way to go if towing...especially if it's a 5er. Unfortunately, the only longbed available now is the crew cab SV model.Looking at ordering a crew cab ,long bed 4x4 .After reading alot of the posts about axle problems is making me nervious. Most post seem to be about 2004-2007 trucks, but I can't really tell.
Has the axle issues been cured on the newer trucks?
Is there any other issues these trucks have that a buyer should be aware of?
I'm getting rid of a regular cab Dodge ,Need the crew cab for my now larger familly.I'll be towing an 18.5 foot 5th wheel ,and sometimes doubles with quads on a flat bed .I have scaled this load at 7500 total pounds . Also towed 1500 miles with an 05 Dakota so the Titan should be ok .
Panning on leaving truck stock as possible, with the exception of the towing equipment. Please share your opinions
