So I recently bought a brand new 2021 Titan SL 4x4 and it came with a trial of the Nissan connect app. Its nice for free but won't be paying for the subscription that's for sure. The issue Im having is when I connect to the truck via the app after I get home or stopped somewhere, it tells me I have a low oil pressure light on and needs attention immediately, however the light is not actually on in the truck. If I start the truck and refresh the app, the warning on the app goes away.
Should I be seriously concerned about what the app says? Or just chalk it up to the many bugs the app seems to have?
My gut feeling is that if I didn't have the app I wouldn't be here with the problem.

Thanks

There is a TSB for that issue, I had it addressed at my last dealer visit, give me a minute and I can find the TSB number, if you don’t plan on keeping the NissanConnect services after the trial then you don’t have to worry about it.

Thank you! That's what I was hoping to hear. If you do happen upon that TSB number I think I will have the dealer address it. I think it's more of just a piece of mind thing for me, no one likes to see that their brand new truck might have an oil issue, app or otherwise.

Lol, newbs. :p When I turn on my accessory and not the engine, all the lights come on and send an alert to the app. I noticed that often and was annoyed with it. It didn't matter that I just wanted to roll down the windows, it would make the App yell at me.

My new Titan was screaming at me through Nissan Connect even though there were no lights on the truck. It was screaming about low oil pressure, but I confirmed no such condition on the truck. I plugged in my phone, and did a couple of refreshes and it still appeared. I finally dug into the settings and found a reset for Connect Services (it's dug relatively deep). After I reset the services on the truck, I did another refresh on the app, and no low oil pressure warning. For some reason on my P4X when it would scream at me, all I had to do was refresh the screen on Nissan Connect, and it would pull that there were no codes. Not sure why it was stuck this time.
