1/4mi [email protected]
Note: speed adjusted on BDGT 8% due to 33"(stock) vs 34"(installed) tires. distance not adjusted so distance time trials are high, speeds in distance are also high (i.e., maybe 1/4mi is 12.1 at 81mph). Full tank gas, 16g premium mixed with remainder of 87, rail mounted box, oh and a full set of struts for my sons ford five hundred in the back seat.
Uh Yeah totally. I've driven over 10 vehicles at the 1/4 mile and watched every other car I could. And went many times to Test and Tune night without running just to watch. You know when someone's numbers are offI agree. Anyone whose spent a few days at track would know that
Those older Mustangs with drag tires could do that, good time. My 89 Vette would do about a 13.8 @ 104mph, on good street tires. Probably closer to your time if I had drag radials.I haven't been to the track in years, but my old mustang with auto trans ran 13.2 @ 104 if memory serves correct
This was a 1993, 225hp factory mustang with an AOD. It was heavily modified to run that time. Sold it for huge loss when I got divorced. The hobby can get old unless you have lots of extra money, because you always want to go faster and faster. Those older Mustangs with drag tires could do that, good time.
