I've been told 2 different subs, so I'm trying to figure out which would be the best one to put in my King Cab.

I got alot of info on putting my Cadence Beast 12s under the seat...Im sure they would sound like total garbage tho because of the lack of air space for them to function :/ ... plus the box would stickout, def dont want this.

Anyways, here are the subs/setups that I've had suggested to me by shops/friends and the situations:

First off I'm using this Cadence Ultra Drive Z1200 Amp -

$1300 installed (I thought was over priced) - Also includes One "Upfiring" Box (Box alone was $189 !!!, nothing special about it), Pioneer AVHP-2300 DVD Unit/harness/wiring/installed/hooking up bypass for the dvd player exc and these subs :
(2) Rockford Fosgate 10" Punch P3SD410 - 300 rms...I really want something more than that, but Ive heard they are good and heard alot of ppl dont like them, so are these any good?

$900 Installed - 2 Seperate Individual Boxes underneath each seat, bypass for the dvd player, but he said he would have to install a toggle switch for the bypass, that normal????
(2) Audiobanh 12" 1204J - Says theyre 500 rms but the box at the shop said 300 rms...anybody know if these are anygood...the dude basically worshipped them

Also, besides Tech12Volt, what box is the best for these subs...I dont want to just buy an everyday box or one that a shop suggests will sound good, just to sale it.

Im trying to keep in mind that every audio shop is different and sale different speakers, thus making different profits, so obviously they'll pitch what they can make the most money off of, but I'm looking for ssmething that will have alot of beat to it, but nothing over 1200 RMS.

Opinions/suggestions please, thank you !

I looked for the specs on Cadence website for this amp, but I couldnt find anything on it except this [PDF Amp Guide - Page 15, but it's at least an 03 Model tho because I had it back in High School LOL, but I know that it wouldnt have any problems pushing anything I could fit in the Titan.

I do need to figure out what the best setup would be tho, because I need to purchase /install the Pioneer AVH P2300 and the truck is stock so I have to get all wires ran/hooked up and everything installed.

Hoping I can find something that would give me alot of bass, but nothing just ridiculious like my 2 Beast 12's were....I'd like to be around 140 dbs or so, maybe a little more, just as long as it sounds good.

I'd like to find 2 good subs that are about 500 - 600 rms a piece and that would sound good, but also with the right box for them.

I know shops sale whatever they can and jackup the prices, I just went around and got quotes to give me an idea, because Im completely brand new to truck audio, so I dont know what would sound good.

I have no idea what those P3's or those Audiobahns would sound like, cuz Im a complete novice when it comes to truck subs lol.

Nice! Do you happen to have pics of the install?

I've never installed anything myself, I've always watched my friends do it and had shops do it for me...I SUCK at wiring and Im afraid I'll completely screw something up haha.

Yea I havent shopped for subs in many years, but I remember back in HS when someone would get Audiobahn subs we'd all just laugh...they had a pretty horrible rep, but everybody had SUV's so it was hard to tell just how bad they were cuz there was so much air space.

Sooo I guess Im stuck on what subs I need since I got my verdict on the P3's as I def want alot of bass, just nothing too crazy, and I figured Audiobahn was still junk, so that cancels both of those subs out.

Now, what are the best shallow mount subs I can/should look at getting that will give me alot of good bass.

I really do appreciate the help guys, these shop ppl just sale u overpriced speakers to make a huge profit, but at the same time try and make it sound like they know what theyre talking about lol.

I def want it to carry lol....Ive got so many opinions Im not sure what to do...

Ive never heard Alpine Type R's but Ive heard they were good and Im getting alot on these Kicker CVR's in a FF & ported box, but doesnt the Kickers need alot of air space, even for shallow mounts, if thats the case those wouldnt be a very good choice with the limited air space that I'll have in the KC.

Ive narrowed it down to 2 subs....

Either the Alpine SWR 1043D or the DC Audio Level 3.....more likely going with the Alpine's, just worried about them fitting and/or the box sticking out past the seats, as they'll have to be FF =/

Anyone ever installed these subs, opinions?
