I would suggest a second, thorough cleaning as well.
I was having similar issues with my gauge cluster after I took my truck to the dealer for a transmission fluid exchange...the tech did a courtesy battery terminal cleaning on my positive terminal.
That's when my gauge cluster started acting up. I totally took apart the positive battery terminal assembly and cleaned every bit of it as best I could with baking soda. All good now!
May or may not help your issue, but it's something free to try during your troubleshooting process.
