I've noticed this as well.. Actually, they used to go up a lot faster, but as time goes by, they are getting slower and slower....... Maybe the actuator weakens over time? :dunno: At this rate, I figure they'll need to be replaced in another few years......

Thanks man. So what all should i look for since I just bought my Titan. I have heard a lot about the brakes, axel wrap, and rear differential issuse. Since I bought an '06 with 18K on it, what seems normal to me may not be normal at all. Thanks again

I have an '06 as well. I haven't had brake judder issues. I just replaced the front brakes and had the rotors cut at around 26000 miles because the semi-met pads wore down further than my comfort level. The rear is fine since the redesigned diff cover was used from '05 on. I have a bit of axle wrap but it doesn't bother me all that much and it doesn't do it all the time. I may eventually buy some traction bars from PRG, but for now, I'm ok. Shocks are another item. I have heard that the stock Ranchos suck, but mine still work fine for street use, so it's not an issue at the moment. For the most part, offroading it will overwork the stock shocks. I'll replace the whole shebang with new coilovers when the stockers go out on me.

Other than that, a few minor squeaks and such, but that doesn't bother me either since tech hooked me up with a sub box! I just crank it up!

Enjoy your truck! And any specific questions, you'll find answered on this forum. It's a great wealth of information!

I actually noticed the axel wrap last night for the first time. It fely like someone bumped me. I absolutely love the Titan. I traded my 04 Expedition in for it. Everyone was like why did you get a pick-up truck? Then I show them my new "pick-up" lol.

So the rear differential cover on my truck that looks like an upgrade is stock?

Yes. Nissan went to the finned design after the overheating problems on the '04 model. There have still been a few problems, but the number is seriously reduced. It has more to do with the spider gears than overheating now, though. Some have bypassed the possibility of rearend failure by installing a Tru-Trac. It's an option to consider if anything ever happens to the stock rearend, IMO....

Bought my 05 with 19.5K on it and the rear windows go up at least half the speed that the front ones do. The back window (middle) goes up fast, but those rear door windows suck.

You guys need to check your window motor fluid. Mine did that and I was low on fluid. The resevoir is right next to the Headlight fluid. 91 octane will also help your window to roll up faster.:smoke:

Mine are slow as well. Same symptoms as the rest of you. I've tried the green and even the higher priced purple power bands and neither really improved the speeds at all. At least not as much as I had hoped for :(

I'm working on a intermolecular teleportal transmogrifier. It will make the rear windows "evaporate" at the push of a button and then reappear when another button is pushed.... so far, I can make the windows disappear pretty easily.... The first problem is all the little glass chunks all over the rear floor of the truck, and the second, making them reappear... :crying: Further updates when I have made more progress... :D

My rear windows are much slower then they use to be. I also noticed that the driver’s side window is slower then the passenger side window. This is a problem because I love putting all five of my windows down in the summer, just because it looks soooo goood:) I love my Titan::teethmast

I have an appointment with Nissan this Thursday to have all kinds of shi... fixed, I think I will hit them with this to:boxing:

I also had a rattle in the rear passenger side door. It was fine rolled up but if you rolled it down all the way it had a bad rattle, especially when you closed the door. I took it in and had it fixed at the dealership. I think they added some padding or something.
