My NISSAN logo on the tailgate was stuck on crooked. Musta been a Friday, eh...that someone couldn't have put this on centered.......

Was gonna try to get it off myself. Probably some fine fishing wire would cut thru the foam adhesive, but was wondering how i'd reapply it.

Since I just had the truck a month, I was just going to get them to order me a new one, but seems such a hassle to have to go to the dealer and complain about it, and go back next week to get it put back on after it comes in.

So, would this annoy the he** out of you?

that`s a PITA to clean that adhesive. I`d get the dealerships body shop to install new. let them fix it...
did you see this before you drove it off the lot?

no didn't see it until I started waxing the tailgate days later.

It would definitely annoy me. I'd just bring it up to them when you take it in for the transmission update.

Nah man, take it in and tell them to make all the rest of the logos the same angle, so it matches!

HAHA that would annoy the hell outta me lol. Should be an easy fix though. My hood was off alignment had to get re-centered. Was so obvious with huge gap on one side and flush on the other. Same thing probably a Friday lol. You wonder how could they let it leave the factory like that.

Yeah that would annoy the hell out of me. Looks like some of the quality work I have to clean up after some of my coworkers. Smh.

It's not that bad to do yourself if you don't feel like messing with the dealer. Heat it up a bit (or let it sit in the sun), run some fishing line/floss behind it, Goo Gone and patience to take the adhesive off, 3M badge tape to put it back on. DON'T SCRATCH AT THE ADHESIVE WITH FINGER NAILS, TOOTHPICKS, ANYTHING. They WILL leave scratches in the clear coat! If you're that worried about it just think of what some kid at the dealer is going to do to get the adhesive off.

UPDATE! the dealer had one of the emblems in stock when I went for my tranny TSB update. They replaced it.
Centered now!

Service writer said "Yeah, that would annoy the crap outta me"..

Last year. We had an earthquake. It rearranged all the pictures hanging on the walls of my house. I left them all that way because I thought it was kind of cool and they were all at the same angle. Then my buddy Kurt came through and set about three of them back. Great. You forked up my Feng Shui.
