Yes, you'll need to grind out a little square in that gusset.

Yes, it is the steering stops. If you cut it, you'll get better turning radius too. I've had mine cut for a while now, with no problems.motorvisions said:mechanic told me today to not cut it cause its the steering stop. greg from PRG told me they all do that and to just put a dab of grease on there, file the edges and ligten up on the uturns. dont think ill be cutting it now.
Suspension:norwaysninja said:Hey I know this is a little off topic, but besides the CST lift what other suspension mods are done to that truck? Are those devers in the back?
Thanks, Eric
AgTitan06 said:Suspension:
CST 4" Spindle Lift
Radflo 2.0 Front Coilovers (cranked 3")
CST Carrier Bearing Drop Bracket
2.5" Deaver spring-pack
2" Fabtech rear block
Bilstein 5125 rear shocks
Tires and shoes:
Nitto Terra Grappler 325/65r18
MHT Driv Off-Road Blitz 18x9 Wheels (+4mm offset, 5.14" backspacing)
The 8" kit requires cutting I believe, and has more parts to install. I would go with the 4" spindle and coilovers. Thanks for the compliments!norwaysninja said:Hey thanks! The truck looks great!
Though do you think this set up is better then going with say a CST 8" lift kit? It seems your truck is about the same height as a CST kit!
