These are custom made bumpers, the fronts are made out of 2.5" od schedule 40 steel piping, and the rear is made out of 1.5" od schedule 40 piping. They both are powder coated with high gloss textured black. 4 8" KC Ralley long range lights. The rear bumper also has reverse lights mounted. I paid $1500 just for parts not including labor, selling for $1300 only ran on my truck for about 4 months.
Thanks
Nick

You got ripped off big time.
Go price out powder coating and those lights. And the metal was about 250.
and what sucks even more...is that nobodys gonna buy it off of here, cause yall sayin that it aint worth near that.
Yeah i know it is, I would like to see anyone go to a shop or build this them selves and try and keep under 1300 for the same set up, the fact is that from scratch I have over 30 something hours in building it. I guess its one of those things that you have to see in real life.
so lets see.

Lights : 480 for the 8"
Tubing : Free... for 20' - 62 bucks: Still free no matter how you slice it
Welding : Free.... yup still free for my Heli-Arc/Tig at work
Install : yup you guessed it
In tube Wired : yup free
Ground down and prepped for powder : Free
Powder Coated : almost free, 30 bucks ;) ( bascially the cost of 1 lb of RAL 9004 signal black plastic for the coating )

I work for an HVAC company here in SoCal, and the piping is free, my shop can weld it for me free, have the welds buffed out, prepped for free, and we do so much install of Powder coated Galvanized duct work, the guys at Orange County Plating, already give me a good deal, and I was thinking of taking my CRF450 frame to have it Gloss Black PC'd

So when they say, "you paid what?" the others probably have/had the hook up also.

So clearly you did get ripped, but then again you paid retail or more for everything.

So under 1300?

Sure I could do it easily, even if I paid for the metal

Most expensive things are the lights, take that out, i can build the bumpers for under 200 minus my time welding.

Now would I? no ;)

I would just use a fab sheet, detail what I wanted, Height, length, light mounts, etc, Do a dry fit after 2-3 days then send it off to be Powder coated :)

Again not to bag on you, your bumper is probably top notch and worth what you paid, just to whom?

Good luck to you

I think he probably get's the hint
Actually the lights are 600 for all four plus 50 for the rear lights, and sorry I don't get free metal so I had to pay full price for it there aren't any cheap places to buy metal where I live, and plus powder coating was about another 600, I looked at my receipts and thats how much I paid yeah it may of been more than you guys but that was the cheapest in my town. But thanks for the support guys I will make sure to come back here again.

sorry to say, but you got ripped off :D
well i really hope you find somebody to buy it off you. i dont know much about metal work/welding/fabrication, so im just goin off these other guys' word that you got ripped off. but good luck with the sale man.
Who cares if he got ripped off, He didnt have a hook up, and its a nice bumper....If your not going to buy it then there is NO Reason to comment.
Nice looking bumper, but that tubing shouldn't have cost more than about $50. I bought 20 feet of 1.5" schedule 40 steel tubing for under $50.
Hard to sell stuff around here sometimes..........
