I wasn't looking for the ebay fitment, because you can't beat oem. So i did the blackout mod for the headlights and gave it a little twist. Let me know what you think.

I will do a little in depth write up when i get the chance, but yes the eyebrows are made from acrylic rod with surface mount leds in each end and the halo's look much better recessed in the housing than on the front IMO. I have a 3d printer that i used to print the brackets to hold the halo suspended in the middle like so, and if anyone wants to do the halo like that let me know and i can print some up for a small fee.

Yeah there is a control unit for the color changing.

Prices i'm thinking are these at the moment.

Just blackout
$170

Blackout with single color halo (Choice of color)
$220

Blackout with eyebrow (Eyebrow has choice of colors)
$220

Blackout with single color halo and eyebrow (Eyebrow and halo have choices of colors)
$260

Blackout with RGB halo (RGB controller will need to be wired into truck, with just a switched power)
(Controller has a remote and sensor so the color can be changed at push of a button)
$260

Blackout with RGB halo and single color eyebrow (RGB controller will need to be wired into truck, with just a switched power)
(Controller has a remote and sensor so the color can be changed at push of a button)
$300

Color choices for halo and eyebrow
White
Red
Green
Blue
Orange
Amber

All the headlights would be plug and play. The halo and eyebrow would replace the marker bulb on the side so that they could plug directly in without hacking wiring in the truck. As for RGB, there is an auxiliary plug that would exit the housing for the controller box to be plugged in.

Halos are 80mm. Got them from superbrightleds. I chose led halos because there have been a lot of complaints about the ccfl ones failing which required the headlight to be ripped apart. These are more reliable, and of course are plug and play and don't require a transformer.

For anyone who wants to do the halo mod themselves I can make sets of brackets.
It would be $25 shipped for them.

All you need to do is epoxy them to the back side of the cylinder and then the halo gets epoxied to the front of them.

:bump: I live in the Springs just South of Denver. I can drive to you when but how long would you need my Headlights/truck to accomplish the $300 job? I can leave the Truck with you and then come back in a few days if need be. The reason I'm asking is I'm home on leave in March for a few weeks and could do this then or when I get back in July. I think your Headlight MOD is the best looking out there. Please send me a PM and let me know what would work with you since I only live about 90 min away.

Again Great MOD and that is Awesome that you are willing to share your Skillz with everyone else.:bump:
Sent you a PM

i guess i didn't phrase my question correctly.

did you blackout the housing as well as paint the interior?
(i know you left the reflecting part)

because i really like what you did, and i'm thinking of just sending you my headlights to do it. it's that awesome.
I think i get what you are asking and yes. I painted the front housing as well as the rear, but just the parts where the light wasn't needing to reflect. The lens itself was left alone.

I like the sound of you sending your lights up here to have me do them. You'd be very pleased with the product. :eyebrow:

These lights..Not really JDM just blacked out.
04-07 NISSAN TITAN/ARMADA BLK CRYSTAL HEAD LIGHTS LAMPS - eBay (item 360333614148 end time Mar-05-11 15:06:38 PST)
I would like to put on the eyebrow on but along the part that splits top and bottom. So I can connect the eyebrow to the blinker. What you think?
Well doing the eyebrow like that would definitely be possible. I can make it part of the turn signal no matter where it is in the light. It won't brighten and dim though. Just turn on then off. I'm still feeling a little cautious about doing your aftermarket lights. The plastic on those can be super cheap and warp and melt much easier than the oem, especially the lens. You wouldn't possibly have your oem ones still would you?
